How did your family and friends react to your transformation?

At first, my family joked, “You’ll have hair everywhere!” They didn’t understand how it worked; I thought I had to choose hair size like a wig. Now they’re amazed by the result. My confidence changed completely. I love taking pictures now. I don’t wear caps anymore; I experiment with hairstyles. My friends tease me, “You’re so girly now!” and I’m like, “Yeah, I paid for these hairs; I’ll enjoy them!”
It’s one of the best things I’ve done for myself. I feel great, confident, and proud.

How was your aftercare experience once you returned home?

How was your overall experience with the hair transplant procedure?

Did you meet other patients who had surgery?

Yes! At the hotel you meet many people who just had or are about to have surgery. You can ask questions, share experiences. One guy told me it was his third one and that only the needle hurts, five minutes and done. At the airport, I saw many others with clinic bands. Turkish Airlines was great too. Everything was clean and organized. I always tell people: go to Turkey, not Canada. Results are better, techniques are more advanced, and the experience is incredible.

How you decided to get it done, and how it affected your life?

When I was young, I used to play with my hair to hide that part. I remember being 24, my car’s sunroof was open, and I saw the top of my scalp. I thought, “No, I’m not going bald like my father.” I started changing my haircut to make it look fuller. At 31 — now I’m 35 — I noticed after swimming that my scalp was visible. I thought maybe I’d do a transplant one day. My stepfather did one in Quebec 20 years ago — it looked unnatural. My brother-in-law did one in Montreal four years ago — it cost $20,000! So I started searching online, saw ads on Google, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram. I found your page, saw Estenove featured on Good Morning America and The New York Times. That gave me trust.
